Have you ever made up signs or code words with your friends?

What are some good ideas?

of course.

in high school, all the people that we talked about had code names. our crushes’ names were after car brands so even if we said that we saw this green toyota and it looked gorgeous, nobody would figure out that we meant one of our crushes was wearing a green shirt…

the people we disliked had either really ugly or hilarious code names…

we also had our own alphabet, by the way. so that when we passed notes around, our teachers would not decipher what we wrote and in the case that we got caught, we could make excuses about what was really written…

also, we spoke differently. we would add the SIPI syllables in our words (i.e. naiSIPIla aSIPIko kay danSIPIiel), that’s our native dialect but translated to english, it would mean that i like daniel. =)

as for the signs, sometimes, words are not needed. we would just look at each other and suddenly burst into laughter. understanding would dawn on all of us just by eye contacts. GMTA, i believe. =)

Long ago when we were in the 8th grade my friends and i made up new alphabet letters so that if we send notes during class, the teacher wouldn’t know what’s written and we wouldn’t get caught…ours were easy sings like “love” “squre” “rewind and forward sings” “spiral sings” lol

We never had privacy at home on the phone so we used to call things by people names. So are you meeting Sarah tonight would be ‘are you having a spliff’ or whatever indescretion we were into at the time.

How sad?
