have to do a panel presentation in english class. need help. very nervous about topic?

Well, some people get addicted to the internet very easily. Also, most people have chosen to shop online, play games online, get information about doctors, lawyers, education. Also, online schools have opened up, which means that more people are turning to homeschooling. I know I have. Don’t get me wrong, I do have a social life. Think about it, with more people turning to the internet for answers, there isn’t as much verbal communication between two people. Not it’s just letting for fingers to all the talking.

You are so fortunate that all you need is a computer and web site. I wish I were there with you for this one. I love English classes and all that goes with them. You want to start with something that will grab their attention. When you first begin, be quiet for 30 seconds; you look at the panel and put your face down, like you are shy. Do this four or five times to let them think that you do not know how to communicate with them. “Does anyone have a computer that I can use, I just do not seem to be able to think of anything to say to you. I guess that I just spend too much time on the internet.” Take it from there and say, ” I guess I will start from the beginning to tell you how the internet has taken away from my social life and from many other’s lives as well. IDEAS:

How a person starts by just playing on net for a few minutes daily. They begin to find sites, game sites, chat sites, and sites on your favorate hobbies. You gradually quit hanging out with friends because you just wanted to be on the computer. You could say that you would start doing homework on the computer and a few minates later, your homework was forgot and you were on the internet playing games or whatever. You look up statics on how many people do get addicted to the internet and how much time the adverage person is on the net. You could also mention that students cheat looking up sites that tell them answers to their homework assignments and give them answers that the student should be reading books to find answers instead. Go to goggle search and type in,”internet and social life, hazards of the internet, internet and compulsive behaviors, internet addiction, internet changes in family………………………… Am I wrong is assuming that a “presentation” means getting up in front of a panel in your class and giving them information on this subject? If not, you can still go to goggle search for help. If writen only, begin with saying that “It has gotten to the point where I cannot speak to people and really do not want to because the internet has given me satisfaction that people cannot give. I no longer have to be self conscious on what to say, what to wear, how to act. It is as if I am alone and can put myself any where I want to be, doing anything that I want to do, and I do not have to worry about anything. I do not have to worry about homework, girlfriends, nor work, not even my family.” My how much fun I could have doing this assignment.

Please, do not do all of the research on the internet. You should actually go to the library and do the leg work by yourself. Who knows, you may find the human of your dreams that you would not have found had you done research on the internet. Have fun!!!!!!!
