Has anyone here gone to Stanford?
if so, what made you choose it? Fill me in on any aspect of life at stanford- classes,dorms etc.

I haven’t personally gone — I wish that I had, but my son is there right now. He’s 12 years old; Stanford has a special two-week long Summer Institute for Highly Gifted Middle School Students where the children are taught one of 5 different subject by actual Stanford instructors. My son is studying Math; my son also received a full scholarship to attend.
Also, they have a special month long institute for high school students — there are more than 5 subjects available for the high school students, but I didn’t count the total number.
My son, 12 years old, is at Stanford right now and he loves it. He says that the campus is beautiful, he likes the food and being able to study Math around kids who are at a really high level just like himself.
