GPA and Ivy legaues? O.o?
During Middle school, I took high school courses: Algebra, Geometry, Spanish 1, Spanish 2. For these courses, my cumulative GPA was a 3.0. Then in 9th grade I also did pretty bad and got a 3.64. Sophmore year I got a 3.85 and junior year I got a 3.85 as well. I also took the most challenging courses available. My total cumulative GPA for all of those grades is now a 3.69. Although this GPA is not Ivy league material, do u think that my overall progress will make colleges overlook my low GPA number or will they see my GPA and instantly reject me?
I have high test scores as well: 2300 SAT, 780 SAT II math, 720 SAT II BIO, 760 SATII history. Will these scores balance out my GPA?

Lets go right to the mechanics of getting into an Ivy League school. First, you should apply. You may have to write an essay as a prelim to acceptance. Lets say you do not get accepted. Apply to a good college or university where your GPA and test scores will almost assuredly gain you acceptance. Spend two years there breaking your “butt” academically. Then ,if you still want the Ivy League, apply to transfer. Just remember something, an education, no matter from what school is better than no education.
