good suny and cuny schools?
Im from NYC im already attending colleges but want to transfer for Spring sem. I want to major in either Edu or Soc. so I was wondering what are a list of cuny or suny colleges good for these majors.

The CUNY site lists them- check it thoroughly, but for edu, I think Hunter is fantastic. I took some classes in Spanish and English there, it was great. Small classes, nice teachers. Modern facility, too.
I know Brooklyn has edu, too, and the campus is so pretty. The senior colleges have edu, not the ccs. (If I remember correctly, CSI, Queens, Brooklyn, Hunter and maybe City). But really, their site is thorough.

each now and then they’re, some there no longer. mutually with Stony Brook (SUNY) is better then the different CUNY college in drugs. And Baruch (CUNY) is better then the different SUNY college in organisation.

SUNY Fredonia has a strong program in education for both primary and secondary levels and in preparation for reading and special ed sorts of issues. Sociology and Psychology are also positive areas at the school. Even though it is the furthest away from NYC, there are many students from “downstate” who enroll there.

SUNY Purchase is good…its upstate though.
