Given only a compass and straightedge……….?

Given only a compass and straightedge, Greek geometers were able to construct only regular polygons and circles, thus, leaving many constructions impossible to complete.

True or false?

I don’t understand this lesson at all.

False. The greeks constructed more than that. Plus what about the right angles? Girl do you have summer school or something? LOL

I think it`s true. With only a ruler and a pair of compasses, it is possible to construct only a few angles accurately, so the number of figures that they could construct would have been limited. Just a point, me being a pedant, a compass is used to find direction: a pair of compasses is the instrument used to draw circles with.

I think it would be false because how would you know if you had the right angles for the regular polygons?
