Getting ready to get out of the Army. What type of work?

should I try and get into? I’ve been an Army recruiter for three years now and would really love to do something like HR. I just don’t know if I’m marketable enough. I’ve been in nine years made Staff Sergeant ( equivalant to first line supervisor, store mangr. etc.) I just don’t have a college degree. But my experiance as a recruiter is great. I’m trained and proficient in interviewing, presentations, market analysis, public speaking, hiring, leadership, microsoft office, I just lack the education. I was just wondering if anyone has experiance in this field and if you think I might be qualified or if someone would hire me? Thanks for any input on this subject!

Unfortunately, for most recruiting jobs they want you to have a bachelors degree. I transitioned from a Air Force recruiter to a company called recruit Military they work specifically with transitioning military I have since moved on to another company but check them out they recruit nationwide for major companies. www.recruitmilitary.com or call them at 513-683-5020. Good Luck

Sorry but being in the army gives you NO real experience in any field.. You say being a recruiter and or staff sargent you are considered equivalent to 1st line management?? who fed you that crap?……… Recruiters are taught to lie and convince uneducated children to join a service branch which is nothing but based around lies and deception.. Staff Sargents are nothing more then order followers and never taught to think on their own.. Anyone can do that!!! even a child… WOW you fell hook line and sinker!

Good luck to you and I’m sorry you were tricked into believing that you have an education and now qualify for the real world. My only suggestion is to get a REAL education at a real college and start all over again. But 1st you will need to become unbrainwashed and and forget about your worthless stay in the barracks.
