getting and associates degree from a community college?
Can someone get there foot in the door at a company after getting and associates in business such as Accounting or Finance? Can people in todays world can get an associates and work there way up in a compny without getting a bachelors degree or advanced degree? Is getting and assocaites degree a waste of time?

I have my associate’s degree. I was going to take some time off from school so I started submitting my resume to a variety of places. I was called for a few interviews but I was basically told that I either didn’t have enough “real world” work experience or that I was over qualified for the job because of my associate’s degree. I have since decided to continue getting my Bachelor’s degree in hopes of opening a few more doors. What ever you decide to do, Good Luck!

No, it is not possible. However, associate is good degree. But that is not a big enough ladder that take you up. Better if you have you bachelor and best if you you master. It will be easy for you.
