Getting a Student without a cosigner, and not so good credit??
Does anyone know where I can apply for a good student loan with out a cosigner if I have not so good credit. I am married not so good credit and have already applied at Wells Fargo Bank and was denied…I do not have anyone to cosign and need this loan to go back to school. Has anyone else had any luck anywhere else??? I need about 5-10 thousand!!! Although any amount would be a big help…Thanks so much for any advice.

First I would look at any government/subsidized loans. And if that still is not enough try SallieMae, while your interest rates may not be that good you will still get some kinda of loan.
Interest rates tend to be higher with not so good creidt, hence the need for a cosigner.

The best route to go is to try to receive some kind of financial aid. You can apply on line at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. This were you can receive some grants that you may not have to pay back. Also if that does not work talk to your school financial aid office because they can also help you with receiving loans such as the Perkins loan which is a government loan. They also may set up a payment plan with you so that you do not have to pay the entire amount upfront. They also may opt to do work-study with you where you will work at the school to pay your tuition this also may give you more time to pay the money. Overall the best answer is talk to your school financial aid office and go to the school instead of calling talking face to face will also give you way better chances.
