Geometry is extremely difficult for most, and easy for a few. I did very well. I took it my freshman year, but I watched juniors struggling with C’s and D’s. Anything that you can learn ahead of time can be very helpful. If you can’t master geometry than you won’t make it to trig or calculus.

Any extra schooling is recomended. Geometry is very difficult. I was great at math and won the physics award at my school, and geometry really neat me up. The compass and protractor you don’t use too much, but you will need them.

I had a psycho teacher who had us keeping journals of all the definitions. The class is hard.

The head start sound like a great idea. I highly recommend you do it.

Well, I don’t see why you would take a pre-geometry class when the whole point of the class you are going to take is going to teach you geometry..

Getting ahead may save you some time but the class would get pretty boring, just go with the flow.

I took geometry in eighth grade. It’s great. It gives you more oppurtunities in high school, assuming that this is an advanced class and you can get high school credit for it.

Um, you really don’t use a compass and protractor all that much.

we didn’t use a compass or a protractor, we just talked about the world and stuff and made out own country. It’s way fun!
