Future with a Political Science Degree?
Ive recently had to decide a new path for school and political science seems to interest me greatly. But I am not well informed of the possible career options aside from maybe teaching or a government job. I have heard that law can be a possibility but I have no real aspirations for that at the moment. Can anyone enlighten me?
Also, will a poli sci degree work outside of north america? Like is it something sought after in Europe or Asia?

I graduated with my B.A. in Poli Sci, and I can tell you that you need to start making connections in regards to future employment. You can go on to grad school for Management (Public Service Management) or work in Social and/or Public Services. A lot of this depends on where you reside. Here in IL, you cannot teach even with a BA; you can be a teacher’s assistant but you need a certificate to teach. There are usually a wide array of gov jobs. Check them out now on state, local and federal level.Hope I was of some help. You can always make Poli Sci your minor and ed your major, that way you would be endorsed to teach it at the middle school or high school level. Honestly, I wish I had done that.
