I taught first and second. It would always break my heart. Especially if it was one of the very bright one who had so much potential. What really hurts is when one of them gets sent to prison for drugs. I still cry about that one.

I am a teacher with 6 years of IL Public School teaching experience.
IL Public School system does not accommodate for the needs of the students. Most of the students are taught core subjects on the level that is much higher than the level of their preparedness. In other words, most of the students do not have prerequisite knowledge.

This is the reason I “drop” and is planning to open a Charter School where students will be taught on the level of their preparedness.
By the way, I will appreciate any help and advice in a process of opening a Charter School as well as in developing its curriculum…
