First one to give me a list of extra curricular activities gets best answer!?

I am in the sixth grade and I want to start doing extra stuff that will look good on a college or job resume. I am already doing boyscouts.

It’s also really good to have a role in a club like president, treasurer, secretary etc.

-> Key Club (does community work, perfect for colleges)

-> National Honor Society (shows that you have good grades and does community work)

-> Language Club (good to do coupled with a language, shows dedication… spanish is really good to do)

-> Sports (soccer, football, swimming, basketball, etc.)

-> You should also find clubs that you are interested in like art or sculpture club or something else.

Actually, any extra curricular activities look good on a college resume. Just do what you enjoy!

all the sports clubs that you can get into, community service in addition to the scouting ones you will come across. school government, yearbook, school newspaper, leadership clubs, all social clubs that don’t over lap with things you are required to do to keep your grades, at the top. keeping your grades at 4.0 will be essential. lots of extracurricular activities with a C average, will not help you

ANY volunteer work. I know when I was in high school we had to start doing so many hours of volunteer work, so start on that as soon as you can, and colleges love to see how NOT selfish you are!

Whether it be at al ballfield, nursing home, camp counselor, ect..
