Computer Technology in the Classroom.

One of the most important technological advancements in the classroom is the use of computers. Some people say that without computers in the classroom, children do not learn as much. It is sad to think that there are schools in the United States that do not have computers, but there are. So do computers really help the students learn? I believe they do.

In order for a society to be literate now a days, computer technology is a must. Many things are being done with computers, so if a society wants to keep pace with the rest of the world, computer knowledge is a must. It is important that computer skills be learned at an early age. Schools that have computer technology have students that are better prepared for the job market.

The computer and the ability to allow children to accelerate at their own pace, focus on individual talents the sky is the limit. We may be able to use all people to the best potential.

Example my son could not sit still until he was 10. He was outcast at school and held back 3 years and made to believe he was useless.

I believe they could have valued his high energy and put it to good use.

It is wasteful to condemn a child at 3 and 4 and throw them in a LD classification because they can’t sit still he was board silly.

I home schooled him for a while letting him pick the subjects of interest. He learned history on the computer and through games. He learned Checz language, he memorized Romeo and Juliet and was reading and comprehending his Freshman Brothers English text. I only home schooled him for 6 months then he requested to return to school.

Now at ten they began to criminalize him.

Maybe that computers allow you to look at a TON of different sources on a topic? That computers allow easier communication?
