draw the graph and detemine the domain and the range of the function. 1) y=2 ln (3-x)-4_(2) y=log2(x+1)?
the other question right here. 3) y= -3 log (x + 2) + 1
4) y = log3 (x -4)….can anyonetell me how to solve these problems..

ln(x+1/x+3) can be rewritten as ln(x+1) – ln(x+3) A log is always positive. This means that x must be greater than -1 because, if not, the first expression will not work. Note that it can’t be equal to -1 … if it were, we would have a division by zero. So … the domain is x > -1. The range represents the possible results and this is harder to define i.e. there’s no set answer to this. If x is small, such as -0.5, we get 1/ln(0.2) = -1.6 If x is large, such as 1000, we get 1/ln(0.99) = -0.002 In fact the only thing we can say for certainty is that as x tends to infinity, the solution tends to ln(1) i.e. 0
