Does SJSU’s graphic design department lack of fund?
I heard many of my friends said that SJSU’s graphic design department did not have enough fund to hire instructors. so it’s very hard for the new students to register a graphic design class in SJSU. one of my friends also told me that his friend could only take 2 graphic design class for the pass 1.5 years.
I will be in SJSU in spring 08. i really worry about if i can take classes over there. Please let me know the situation in SJSU’s graphic design department. thx a lot lot lot!!!

I have an art instructor from SJSU for a deasign class at De Anza this summer. Apparently SJSU’s art department which includes graphic design (One of the classes she teaches) is well known and well equipped. The problem is that there are several thousand art students on campus at any given time. From the way she makes it sound, there is no room because of a high demand not lack of instructors. She said the department was “well” funded.
