Does it matter what school to go to, to become an sports or entertainment anchor at MTV or ESPN?
Could it be a HBCU or a more diverse school..

Most people have journalism degrees, some at the Masters level at top j-schools.
The princeton review can provide you with some ideas about excellent journalism schools within universities.
I advise that you attend a university with a strong athletics program so that you have plenty of opportunity to cover a wide range of sporting events. This way you can hone your writing skills and learn about a wide range of sports. Take it all seriously.
Alumni networks will help you after you graduate. You should learn more about the alumni and the jobs they have. AND yes, sports anchors have to know how to write.
