does anyone know where a college is in,or near, L.A. that you could get a major in photography?

Currently there are any number of fine Photography course offerings at city/junior colleges and trade schools which are partially listed below:
1) Los Angeles City College – www.lacitycollege.edu;
2) Santa Monica City College – www.smc. edu;
3) Pasadena City College – www.pasadena.edu
4) Los Angeles Trade Tech – www.lattc.edu;
I had the opportunity to attend the first three colleges, so I am little biased towards recommending them highly. And eventully I had the opporunity via Uncle Sam’s military education benefit to attend Art Center College of Design where I truly learned a lot about commercial photography.
