Does anyone know of website that is made for kids to help them learn korean?

I am trying to teach myself korean but all the books and audio tapes that ive bought from stores move too fast. im learning this without anyone to practice with so slow and steady studying will be the best i think. i would like to find a website (free if possible) that is made for little kids to help learn korean. Ive almost got the alphabet memorized but i need VERY simple practice readings, like in america we have “see spot, see spot run” kind of material. i want something that will build my grammar over time, not have it all thrown at me. Or a website that has repetitive simple games….if only there was a dora the explorer korean.

ive search in search engines with not much luck. i refuse to believe it doesnt exist somewhere on the internet.

(other self study book recommendations are welcome too.)

Korean is a hard language to learn if you start at the beginning as an adult. What I could tell you is that if you click “learn korean” on www.veoh.com or www.youtube.com

there will be a list of learning shows that you could watch for FREE.

example: this is first lesson of “how to speak korean”

and this is first lesson of “let’s speak korean”

From my experience, writing in Korean takes many practices and reading so I recommend you to go to nearby community college (if they offer one) or buy a self study book. Listening and speaking takes a lot of watching koreans speak and talking to each other, so i think the videos that I sent you would help you a lot.

Good luck with everything! 🙂

No. Because English is the World wide Language. Since the beginning, everyone has to know English. When the Norwegians came to America we had to Know and Speak English. We could not attend Public School, without the ability to talk English. BUT now the Schools are teaching Spanish. I wish they would Teach Norwegian. It is not fair that they only teach Spanish and English. My question is: Why do the Spanish People fall in second place with preference ?? But English is spoken all over the Planet. English is Number ! !!!!!!!!
