Does anyone know of grants or loans that help pay household bills while trying to go through nursing school?

I am trying to go back to school for nursing and I have to work full time to pay bills. I am currently a single mom.

Your financial aid package should include certain “cost of living” elements. As such, banks may lend you more money (i.e. Stafford Loan Program) than you need for just tuition and fees. Once you sign that loan check at the school, and it exceeds your balance of tuition and fees, the school will refund you the difference.

sure you could. pupil loans are accessible to help with textbooks and residing expenses as properly as with training. be careful nevertheless. those loans are rather uncomplicated to get, and because you do no longer could initiate paying them back spectacular away, that’s hassle-free to recover from your head in debt. in basic terms borrow what you actual prefer. the quantity of pupil loans accessible to you is predicated on the form of credit hours you’re enrolled, no longer in what form of school you’re enrolled in.

Stay away from internet lenders wanting you to pay fees up front for a loan.If they are asking for $ up front they are SCAM ARTISTS. Report them to the IC3 division of the FBI and the FTC and your states Atty. Generals office.
