Does anyone know of any websites to find out what school your kids are zoned for?
We might be buying a house before school starts and I would like to find out what school my kids would be zoned for. We live in Duval County, FL. I’ve tried to search but have had no luck. Thanks in advance.

I couldn’t find a district map for you. I guess you’d just have to call down to the district, give your address and ask where you child will be attending school next year. Here’s the FAQ page for the county’s school system: http://www.dreamsbeginhere.org/static/aboutdcps/faq/index.asp#what_school
I did find a feeder system. It tells you what elementary schools go to the middle schools and what middle schools go to the high schools in the whole county. Here’s a link for it: http://www.dreamsbeginhere.org/static/ourschools/listings/feeder.asp

Duval County should have a website with information for all their schools, and you should be able to find a map of the county with zoning information. If you cannot find it online, I would suggest going to your county school board office, and they well be able to give you the information you need. I teach in Virginia, and we have that information in both of those places.

Almost every school districts posts it’s enrollment zones on the district website.
If they do not, I do not think there is a central source that does.
