Does anyone know of any celebrities who have children with special needs?

Homer Simpson is stupid and so is his son. His daughter is gifted.

Toni Braxton has a son with autism.

Einstein had some degree of Aspergers, so does Bill Gates

Doug Flutie has a son with autism and has a foundation developed to it. Sylvester Stallone also has a son with autism, as did the recently deceased opera singer Beverly Sills. JFK and Ted Kenedy had a sister with some degree of developmental and mental retardation (possibly caused by a severe childhood illness). Special Olympics and many of the laws regarding the educational rights and rights to health care for disabilites are a direct result of the Kennedy family wanting all families to have the chances they could give to thier sister. Am sure there are others, but these are the ones I can think of immediately.

Holly Robinson Peete has a child with Autism, also. She was just talking about it in People (I think)… Of course, Bill Cosby’s son, Enis (who was killed…) was learning disabled; I think he had dyslexia. Tom Cruise also has dyslexia, so Suri may develop that, too – hard to tell at this point, obviously! Good news is learning disabilities/physical disabilities and other conditions are not a death sentence – all of us have strengths and weaknesses – theirs are just more obvious.

Many athletes (such as football players) have children with special needs. This is most likely a repercussion of their drug (steroid) use.

Jim Kelly’s son has died. But John Elway & Doug Flutie have kids with special needs. I know there are more.

New York Yankees catcher, Jorge Posada’s son has Craniosynostosis. He has a foundation that he set up for it.
