If that is something you really want to do, you might

try opening your own publishing company. It would

mean designing a puzzle book and then publishing

it, marketing it, making it available to borders and

amazon. AFTER you have success with that, then

one of the big puzzlebook companies might take

you on. OR you can inquire about an internship at

a puzzle book company. Just get the names from

your local bookstore. OR get a journalism degree

and get hired at a newspaper working in that

department. Interview some people already

working in that industry and find out what they did.

If you’re going to do word puzzles, you will probably

need an English degree, with a concentration in

linguistics and/or journalism (that would qualify

you to work at a newspaper.)
