Being once a financial aid advisor, I can tell you right now there is money out there, such as grants and loans. But first you need to feel out a fafsa with all your information.

Depending on how old you are and if you are married, have kids, at the end of application you will get a efc number that is the indication if you will get grants from the govt. If you EFC is well over 4000 you will not get grants.

If you are single and under 24 and make a income lower then 16000 then you will most likely qualify.

Fill out as many scholarship applications as you can. Aside from scholarship money, you could always request a higher loan that will cover your tuition and all other miscellaneous fees, such as gas, food, dorms and the like.

The only way to do that is to request more money than you needed in the first place, which isn’t a good idea considering that you will be paying interest on that for a good 20 years after you graduate. Other than that, NO.

A lot of companies will help you with these expenses. talk to your advisor or go to your schools financial aid department. schools will always look for money for you, because this means they are more likely to keep you as a student. but get a job too.

Go to http://fafsa.ed.gov and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This will determine your eligibility for state and federal grants and you will be able to take out federal student loans.
