Temperature, angles and direction, sometimes the contour markings on a map can have a negative scale, often accerelation is described as deceleration when it’s in the opposite direction (negative). Dates to a certain extent…. the usage of ‘A.D.’ acts as the zero in a number line whilst all that stretches before that is ‘B.C.’ which would have technically been negative. Financial debts are often described as negative values, e.g.: when making a loss.
