Do you think this is good?
I am averaging between about 2-4 hours of study everyday in the summer holidays. Sometimes with breaks between a subject of about 10 mins in between whilst still studying (I switch subjects every 10 min interval).
I currently studying Higher Physics and Higher Chemistry for about a week now. I find it easy because of the above solution. But don’t know how to study for Higher English or Modern Studies (Media Studies and Politics).
Please help me.
Do you think studying in the summer to get ahead of people in class is wrong? Will I find it boring?
I have gotten ahead before and found it sometimes boring sometimes fun. BUT this is higher coursework – not the normal exams. I am 15.

Hey. I just wanted to voice my opinion on a couple of questions that you posed… First, I am a middle school English teacher and I do not think it is problem if you choose to study over the summer to get ahead. I try to convey to my students that an ‘A’ will not make them successful in life but a strong work ethic can take them far. I guess it depends on what is motivating you to work so hard during the summer vacation. I work hard during the school year, and use the summer to reenergize. I advise my students (those that are not struggling) to do the same and take a break from the rigor of academics. If you are studying out of love for learning or the subject matter, then I say go for it. If you are studying to try to please someone else (your parents, etc.) or out of fear (not getting a good job etc.) then you might want to reevaluate. I have known students who have made themselves miserable by working so hard for the wrong reason. If you love it, then keep going. If not, work hard during the school year, but consider reenergizing during the summer. If all goes well, you still have High School to finish, Undergraduate work at the University level and then possibly graduate school. Dont burn out at 15.

getting ahead is always better. Just remember to keep your knowledge kind of hidden because then everyone will get jealous that it’s so easy for you.
