Do you prefer Suburban or Urban Settings for Colleges?

I prefer urban settings because there is typically more of an active social life and in certain areas it’s easier to get around without a car.

I prefer the suburban/rural option. I went to a university that was in a rural area about 5 miles out of a major city. It was great.

I went to both and like them both for different reasons.

I went to school on the poverty plan. I liked urban schools better from the employment opportunity perspective.

Urban schools also provided the best party atmosphere.

Small town/rural schools provide fewer distractions, a lower cost of living, and tamer/safer recreation.

I completed my undergraduate in a rural setting. It was pastoral, peaceful, and nothing but academics surrounding you. It was awesome.

the city. there is many too do there and it is so much fun! Also alot of people from many different cultures and places. The city is almost like a learning experiance itself if you dont live there
