Do you avoid reading YA questions with bad grammar/spelling?

Or if it is just a block of text with no punctuation, I just look at it and click back. It is just so awful and annoying.

If the Q is legible and the subject interests me, I’ll give it a whirl.

I’ve done enough ctritcizing on Y!A and have even been given ‘violations’ for doing it. Obviously I’m not a very good critic, especially with my choice of words.

Let it be as you may. This is my take on it.

I attempt to figure out what they are saying. If it is total nonsense, I’ll tell them so.

Some people have really bad grammar. That is a huge pet peeve for me.

For example, it drives me nuts when someone talks about the 1990s and they write “1990’s.” That statement is plural since it is about multiple years, not possessive! The 1990s didn’t own whatever they are referring to.

It’s just about impossible to avoid reading such questions on Answers! I seldom answer the most egregious ones, although one would suspect that they are the ones that need the most help!

I try to figure out what on Earth they are saying, then I throw in a nice sarcastic comment. Or I go through and tell them all the grammatical errors they made. I need a life…

Look for signs in the heading before you even click on it?

Like if the heading is;

i hav ea doggy that is so kool n waz wonding wat 2 do?

Don’t click on a question that has a heading such as this.

I agree, it really frustrates me!

People have no intelligence and no common sense!
