Do UC’s look down on you if recieve a C-?

and do they admission?

There are a few things to consider for your question.

Is this your only C-? If so, then probably not, as long as you can provide a good reason as to why you got it (your teacher taught using a different teaching style than you were used to, you were sick and missed a lot of class, you were going through tough times, etc.)

Are you referring to UCLA and Berkeley? If so, a C- could potentially affect your acceptance if it is in a normal class (not honors or AP or IB) unless you have an extremely acceptable reason for getting it.

If you mean University of California by UC, it could depend on which campus you are talking about. (Berkeley and Los Angeles are one of the most competitive schools in the US. Riverside and Merced, for example, won’t be as difficult to get in.)

I believe that the admission office would not look down only by the C- if the overall GPA is not low.
