Definitely. A job does two things: it teaches children how to manage money and it teaches them responsibility. Just be sure not to let them go overboard. I knew some kids in high school whose grades dropped because of their devotion to their job. You just have to make sure they balance both responsibilities. Go for it, give them a taste of the real world.

Most definately. It helps create self-discipline and responsibility. Plus, its perfect to get them started on the real world while they are still safe at home. But i’m 18 and I’ve had the same job the last 3 yrs so maybe my opinion is a little biased. However, I don’t regret it at all. I learned a lot.

To a degree, so long as they kno w enough how to count change etc.It teaches young people reponsibility.
