Do i still have a chance to get into UCLA?
i took pre cal this summer but i got a c and a d and i dont know what to do. should i take it again or go to ap cal…

Repeating the semester in which you received a D will exclude the D from being calculated into your GPA. The semester with the C cannot be repeated (or you can repeated, but it won’t count in your GPA calculation).
Make sure you do better in your next class and you should be fine. One C is hardly a reason to panic (but don’t slack off, more than one C is cause for concern).

We need more info to answer your question. Are you a high school student or a college student. If high school, what’s your GPA, test scores, extracurr. activities? A lot comes into play when making a decision for admission. You just haven’t given us enough info. Best of luck though!

i don’t think so. i heard if you get a D in any class during high school, you are automatically rejected from all of the UC schools. i’m not sure if thats true though.

you need to post stats… if pre calc isn’t on your transcript, then you don’t need to worry about it. pre calc doesn’t prepare you too much for calculus so its your choice on what to take. as far as UCLA goes, you’ll need to post stats such as SAT scores, extracurriculars, and GPA., but you’ll still have a shot at UCLA
