Do freshmen have to live on campus at the university of virginia?

Are you required to live on campus as a freshman at the University of Virginia’s School of Nursing or is it possible to commute?

I believe you have to live on campus for at least your first semester. But if you have special circumstances or you live near the school, they may be willing to negotiate. Talk to the head of the housing department and see what you can find out. UVA seems to have tons of options when it comes to housing, as well as nice dorms, so don’t be afraid to ask around.

Yes . . . however, if you have special circumstances that you believe require you to live off-Grounds, take it up with the University after you’re admitted. I’ve found everyone to be extremely accomodating and sincerely interested in the student’s best interest.
