do college students leave there dorms for the summer?
i am goin to a summer camp and wondering if there are goint o be colege studetns there

Yes. There are summer classes, but it would be much less than 1/2 the size of the normal campus amount. Most would probably commute during the summertime anyways.

There would be very few students in the residence halls during the summer.
There will be students taking summer courses, working on-campus jobs to earn some $$$, or some athletes who stay on campus to use the facilities to work out.
But most of the students will be gone – it is an entirely different atmosphere.

Most do. Many campuses have summer programs that include on-campus housing, but the numbers of students are usually much smaller than during the school year.
