Other Forms of Communication:
– Phone calls (more personal, real time)
– Video Mail (as close to being in person as possible, real time)
– E-mail (unlimited space to write, quick delivery)
– Postal Mail (more formal, possible without using technology)
– Instant messengers (real time, usually used in conjunction with normal sized keyboard, so it’s easier to type quickly, and some instant messengers have a voice option)
One of the disadvantages I can see is there’s always not enough place to type everything you want even if you go out of the limits and send a “5smses sms”.
I also think you personality in smses is a little bit different from what you’re in life, and it can cause problems and misunderstanding.
But I can’t live without sms, I get bored.
I assume your talking about picture/video/data messaging,Without a plan they can be 25 cents a message each or more. And with a lot of phones if your txt goes over 160 characters it sends as a SMS message.
