CPA major whats the requirement class in college?
over the summer i decide my major to CPA. but i have no idea what classes i have to take.. i made a counselor appointment but i still got 2 weeks to meet her. anyone know whats the basic classes i have to take? 🙂

In order to sit for the CPA exam you are now required to take 150 credits (five years). Tyoically the course requirements include Intermediate Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Federal Tax, Cost Accounting, Auditing, Business Law, Fiancial Analysis, Statistics.
Incidentally I have been a CPA for 15 years and you have selected a very hot career path. In light of Sarbanes Oxley there is a high demand for accountants. Right out of school the starting salaries are in the 40s (in the NYC metro area).

It’s a Masters Program in Accounting. You need to take all sorts of accounting courses, tax law courses
Go to the web site for the state you are going to practise in an see WHAT CLASSES they expect to see and what credit hours they expect to see for CPA. I think you still have to work under supervision for at least a year after graduating.
