Could I get into NYU?
Just wondering…
My unweighted gpa is 3.8, unweighted class rank is 70 out of 631, lettered and been in extra curriculars through high school, in girl scouts with gold and silver award since first grade, am in the national honor society, in high achiever program (offered to the top 5% or so to my school), and have a couple strong teacher recommendations…
What do you think? Or it NYU still too selective?

Depending on your test scores, you look pretty good to me. How’d you do on the SATs or ACT?

Congratulations on your merit! I think you have a very GOOD chance of getting in. If your from NY i know that you definitely will get in, if not I still think you have a chance. And besides you will never know unless you apply! Goodluck and I wish you all the best!
