College is a waste of money, I have a degree, some experiences,?

And every time, I try to apply for a job, they say I don’t have enough experiences. I don’t understand, when the workers they have working already, (WITHOUT A DEGREE NEITHER DOES THE PERSON HIRING “SO WHO AR YOU TO TELL ME, I’M NOT QULAFIED, WHEN I HAVE MORE EDUCATION ABOUT THIS FIELD THEN YOU DO!! this pisses me off. I would have been better off, going to work after high school. RICH GETTING RICHER AND THE POOR GET POORER..

If you think education is a waste, then clearly you wasted your time in school.

Do you really think you would have gotten the same sort of job straight out of high school, with no experience and even less education? Of course not, you would have had to start at the very bottom rung and slowly built up years of experience, just like this guy did.

Quit whining – every college grad encounters this when they apply for their first few jobs out of college.

It has nothing to do with rich or poor – everyone has to pay their dues at some point (and your claim doesn’t make sense anyway, because it would be the poor kids who couldn’t afford college that began work right away and gained the experience that, in your example, trumped the education of the rich kid who could afford college).

Many jobs want a degree AND experience. If given the choice they would rather have experience but the degree helps. Sometimes you can get a job without the degree but won’t move up. Getting a degree does not guarantee anything but it can open doors that might otherwise stay shut. It also teaches you about time management, working with others, budgeting, and gives you an opportunity to be on your own with a safety net of the parents just in case. A lot of people that go out on their own at 18 find it is much harder than if they had gone to college and had those extra few years to mature.

Once upon a time, having a degree was an uncommon thing. Now that everyone has one, competition is high and your degree just makes you like everybody else. The only way to get a job nowadays is by knowing someone in the business. So you could do the following:

a) start networking

b) take a job (that doesn’t require a degree and pay is crap) but climb up the ladder that way

c) start your own business.

It might have something to do with your attitude sweetie. You may need to start at a lower level position than your education qualifies you for – and with hard work, a cheerful countenance and ingenuity – work your way up!

Well, you made someone happy about the money you spent on them to get an education, but don’t care if anyone is in debt for it.

Education is nothing without experience. I try telling my father that but instead I attended college and he would not allow me to work devoting all my time to my studies. Now I have a piece of paper to wipe my butt with. No experience. Sorry we cannot hire you. What a joke!
