College Help!?

Go to the college you want.

It’s the only way you will be happy.

Visit both schools. Maybe you will see that you actually enjoy the one your parents chose more. My friend applied to 18 schools last year and got into about 13. She went and visited all of them and realized that the ones she chose as her safety schools ended up being the ones she loved the most.

Visit, sit in classes, talk to people. Maybe you’ll even realize neither college is for you and you’ll apply to a few more.

That’s the best advice I can give you.

I go to EKU (Eastern Kentucky University) and I actually considered Kentucky Wesalynn College msyelf. It seems like a great school and my friends that go there really enjoy it. WVU, however, is also a good school. If I were you, I would go to the school that offered me in-state tuition or a scholarship. They are both great places to get an education, and you’ll meet great people at either one, so base your decision on which college is offering you more assistance regarding finances and which one offers more majors that you’re interested in.

Who’s paying? 🙂 Write a list of pros and cons for each college and discuss them with your parents. If you really want to go to WVU and there is a long list of legitimate pros (i.e. going there because your friends want to go there is NOT a legitimate one) explain to them that you are the one that has to be there for 4 years or whatever it takes and you want to be somewhere you’re comfortable.

If cost is a factor, then maybe you need to figure out a way to pay for going to a more expensive college yourself if you really want to go to your choice college.

I think W.V.U is better than K.W.C.So,you should try to say your parents, why you want to choose this university and the benefits after getting a degree.You should discuss with your parents friendly.

But you should also ask their desires and their difficulties(like financial problem,worries about you).

ok your parents arent the one attending the college, you are. my mom went to WVU and she said it was pretty, but there were a lot of stupid people, you know jocks and stuff. so its a real big party school, but i guess any school can be, you just have to avoid them.
