can you return library books from one library to another?
If they are part of the same branch.
Example, I checked out books from the Temecula Library, and I want to return them in Canyon Lake, and they are both a part of the branch of Riverside.

If they are both branches of the same agency, I.e. Riverside county public library, then u should be fine.
Books can also be returned to other library agencies, using the intra-mural loan system, however, there are typically delays from the time u drop the book off, and the time the correct agency receives the book, and typically the patron/user is responsible for such delays/fines.

As long as they are the same branch there should be no problem, but call first and make sure. You don’t want a lot of late charges piling up on you or even having to pay for a lost book.
