Circa 1876

Sunshine had a beautiful farm. Everything that she loved was there;

A beautiful lake, wildflowers, a vegetable garden, berry patches, groves of cherry and apple trees. It had room for her horse,Pickett’s Charge to roam freely and romping space for her kitten and puppy. It also had…………………….. Matt ………The love of her life. She and U.S.Marshal Matt Dillon were deeply in love. He had broken off a 20 year relationship with Miss Kitty, owner of the Long Branch Saloon, in order to pursue the hand of Sunshine.

Today was the day that Sunshine was opening her farm to the townsfolk of Dodge. Everyone could fill one basket with berries and another with vegetables. She had a huge crop and was more than willing to share. People started arriving around 9 a.m.

By noon, everyone within 10 miles of Dodge was on the farm having a great time.

Miss Kitty was also there.

Festus:”Miss Kitty ? Don’t you think it would have made sense to bring a basket with you?”

Kitty looked over her shoulder…….”(2) Festus? Get drunk and be somebody……Now get lost.” Kitty had but one thing on her mind. She was waiting for the right moment to get Matt alone and try for the umpteenth time to woo him back.

At last……Matt was going in the barn. Alone. Kitty followed him in. As Matt knelt down to get a basket, Kitty threw herself on a pile of hay, next to him……..”(1) How do you like me now, big boy?!”

Matt:”Kitty! For heaven’s sake get up!” Kitty grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him down.

Kitty:” (5) I’m just talkin’ about tonight. Come on ,Matt….For old time’s sake.” She started undressing.

Sunshine came running in, to see what was taking Matt so long……. “Kitty?! You’ve gone (3) Too far this time. Get dressed and get out of here!”

Mortified, Kitty covered herself and ran out.

Matt and Sunshine returned to their friends and put the incident behind them. In a short while the sun was blaring down.

Sunshine:”Okay friends. Let’s head on down to the lake to cool ourselves off.” A cheer went up as everyone walked over to the most beautiful lake anyone had ever seen:

Soon, all were frolicking in the cool,clear water.

Matt saw something off in the distance.

Matt:”Is that Kitty, in our canoe?”

Peter Pace: “Hey! That’s MY canoe!!”

Kitty, drunk and miserable over her latest foiled attempt to recapture Matt, had gone off, alone:

She knew how to handle a canoe as well as she knew how to handle her drinking.

Matt and Sunshine went out to bring her back . As they came along side her, Kitty was screaming at them to go away. She stood up to ward them off, but lost her balance.

Matt tried to catch her but he was (6) A little too late. Kitty fell in!!

Matt bumped his head on the boat and was dazed.

Sunshine jumped in and tried to rescue Kitty. She dove time and again. At last!! She found her!!!

Matt had regained his composure by this time and helped Sunshine put Kitty in the canoe. He immediately applied mouth to mouth resusitation. Kitty showed signs of being revived. They paddled back to shore, where Doc was waiting. When Kitty was well enough to travel, she went to town with Doc. She looked back at the others as they pulled away in the buggy. She raised her hand in a feeble attempt to thank Matt and Sunshine.

Sunshine blew her a little kiss.

That night, as they readied for bed…….

Matt:”Sunny….You did good, babe. I’m proud of you.” He pulled the covers back as she lay next to him.

Sunshine:” YOU did good,Matt. I’m always proud of you.”

She kissed him gently. The kiss rapidly became more intense.

Just then Daisie Dixie jumped in bed with them.

Sunshine smiled and cuddled little puppy…..” Well, hello darling girl. (4) Who’s your daddy?” Daisie Dixie walked over to Matt and licked his face. “That’s right.

Matt…..Your turn to take out DD.”

“how do u like me now?”

he chuckles. “my answer still would be naked”.

“well tonight…i will get drunk and be somebody..someone totally different than u expect…dont worry i want take it too far this time.”

he stands behind her in the mirror, and drapes his arms around her. “okay, but for now..why dont u just try concentrating on this..”who’s ur daddy”. he whispers into her ear.

“hopefully there will be some new prospects at this event”. she says playfully.

“that really hurts!” he says

” i couldnt be anymore serious” she says

“well im just talking about tonight..this moment” he says.

“hey! you cant back out of this now..u wanted to go to this swingers event…im willing and ready to go.” “ts a little too late…

im hooking up with every hot guy who enters the building!”
