can someone help me answer this question?

Can someone give some examples from literature or theatre, current events, and history that support the theory that their are changes that make our lives easier but not better

This is an SAT practice essay question that I am completely stumped on and would appreciate some help!

um i dont know if these would help but thell help you understand somewhat like the computer makes our life easier but some would argue were worse off because we dont look at books or manually search the librarys anymore so we have become lazy even in studying!!. stuff like that is what makes life easier but maybe not so much better.

Think of things which make your life easier. Maybe you have electricity, hot-and-cold running water, refrigeration, food which has been algready grown & picked for you–perhaps even cooked for you–digital clocks, baseball caps, whatever.

Once you have finished your list, look over the items, and circle the items which don’t actually improve the quality of your life–perhaps the fruit you buy prepicked is yucky and tasteless, compared to fruit that you pick from a tree in your backyard. Or perhaps, if you raised your own wheat and ground your own flour, the resulting bread would be far tastier and more nutritious that what you scarf down now.

The Industrial Revolution. Production was faster, easier and more economical but because of the efficiency of the machines lots of people lost their jobs. There was no need for all that many workers anymore because machines could do people’s work better and faster. Hope I helped

How about: Being able to check your own credit

score will help you control your own credit. This

does make our lives easier but it opens a whole new can of worms since any company can check

your credit history. Even potential employers.

Simple example…fast food.

Very easy to get but spawned an obesity epidemic.
