Can i get into purdue with a 2.4 gpa?
I really want to get into Purdue engineering school but my gpa is 2.4. I was told i could apply for an easier class then switch once i am in. I really don’t have time to get my gpa up and i haven’t taken
the SAT yet.

A 2.4? …..And the engineering school no less??
I hate to tell ya but the only way you’re getting into Purdue with a 2.4 is if they hire you as a janitor.

I don’t want to be negative but a 2.4 is extremely low for an engineering major. Maybe you should attend a community college first and transfer over to Purude (that way you’ll have a good college GPA). A 3.5 is needed to get into their engineering programs. I suggest that you study for the SAT and take it as soon as possible.

Take the SAT.
I doubt you will get into their engineering program with that GPA.
Try attending a community college for two years. Develop an honorable college GPA and then try applying.
Edit:
I believe that once you have gone to college for two-years you do not have to provide your high school transcripts anymore.

Not unless you’re a legacy of a wealthy alumni.
