Statistic wise, I would say yes, but there are SO many other factors as I’m sure you know, that it’s impossible to say. Why not apply as an early decision. This way you’ll know, and if you get deferred by chance, you might get taken as regular admission. Good luck!

It all looks pretty good but with the Ivy Leagues it is REALLY difficult to tell unless you just apply and find out. Each year they get a major amount of applications so one year your grades and stuff will be good to get in and the next year every valedictorian in the nation has applied and there is no way you could get in. How many hours of volunteering do you have? I’m not going to lie, 3.4 out of a 4.0 is not good. Your SAT score is ok but not great for the school you are applying to. Are you in the top 5% of your class? I would say apply to Brown but don’t be too dissapointed if you don’t get in. Pick some other schools you could be equally as happy with.

Statistically wise your gpa and sat scores are a little low, for ivy leagues. I would drop a few extracurricular activities, because if you have too many they think you are too scattered. Unless you go to a very prestigous high school, don’t bother applying unless your in the top 5% of your class. In my class the top 5 people applied to ivy legues and only the top 2 got in. All were very well rounded and qualified for ivy league. I would apply, but don’t be too dissapointed if you don’t get in. Ivy Leagues are really overrated anyways.
