can anyone recommend u.s. history books/novels/biographies that are entertaining and educational?
all topics are fine–colonial history, civil war, revolutionary era–anything u.s. history related that is also a “good read” thank you!!

I’d recommend a book we used in my AP US History class:
Paul Boller’s “Presidential Anecdotes”
It starts a section for each president with a bit of history about that president, and then goes on to tell a bunch of hilarious but true stories that happened to that president.
