Can a person drop out of high school, get their GED and then go to college?

Yes you can go to college. Even if you never got a ged you can still get a college education through some community colleges. my cousin dropped out in 10th grade and 6 years later went to a local college and became a cosmotologist.

Usually a Community College or other two-year college will take you. Then you can apply to a university.

Well, u would have to go to a community college first, take all ur gen ed classes, do really good, then transfer to a university, and finish there.

a friend of mine cousin did
she dropped out as a sophmore (she was one of the top in her class) and had her GED before she would have graduated and got a head start on college
