With all due respect to the French Rebellion and the Russian Rebellion, in terms of its ongoing effects the American Revolution has probably influence on the world. The rise of America as a meddling superpower might never well have happened without it, American armies are fighting today in central Asia using justifications that originated in the Revolution. So I vote for George Washington and his band of ter…um freedom fighters. 😉
