Average GPA for law school?
When applying to law school, do they consider your entire college gpa, all four years, or just the last two years (which consists of the upper level courses)?

I am not sure for California – in Florida it is the GPA recorded at the last school you attended – so if I went to a community college first and then a 4 year university – they woudl only consider the university score
Of course – you have to pass the LSAT test as well – this is not a problem for people who can think in terms of logical arguements – so if you are good with that you can almost go into th elSAT blind and still do well – otherwise you will need to bone up a bit to be sure you can follow the paths in the arguements presented
If you are preapring for the LSAT through your regular classes I would recomend taking at least one philosophy course and one logic course – these will help you the most
Once in Law School I would recommend you take debate classes as yoru electives – these will help you with preparing oral arguement

They usually consider your overall GPA. If you have at least a 2.8 GPA and a good LSAT score, than you can probably get into a second tier law school.
