autism link to MMR?

How does everyone feel now that the leading researcher who claimed autism was linked to MMR shots has discredited his own research. This was just announced yesterday… There is NO KNOWN cause of autism, and this research has been falsified. Again, there is no link to MMR…

I just got back from my autism specialist and he says all researchers that dare to find a link betweeen MMR and autism need to be careful. The government will not allow anyone to say that measles vaccine strain virus is found in the gut. Wakefield sent off new samples to be tested and the lab is under pressure NOT to peform the tests. If you look carefully at the coauthors who signed the retraction it says they disagree with the conclusion NOT the results of the measles virus in the gut. Any researcher who has spoken out has found that it is difficult to get funding. Thimerisol was removed from most of the vaccines without admitting to any wrong doing. This is the governments way to protect the vaccine program from failing. I agree that vaccines are neccessary but the vaccination scheduleis way too aggressive. Autism is caused by an evironmental trigger such as toxins, vaccines, metals, etc. I don’t remember any kids with speech delay or developmental problems other than the usual mental retardation (obvious) when I was growing up. Autistic children are everywhere now. The vaccination schedule needs to be changed dramatically. Waiting to vaccinate kids after 2 when the immune system is stronger is a safer way to insure disease control and less adverse reactions. About one percent of the population will have a reaction to vaccines which is concidentally the rate of autism spectrum disorders. Please remember that ANY vaccine is capable of causing seizures and immune system disregulation that can result in autism or mental retardation. This is a fact and why the vaccination injury fund was set up. If the parents simply said their child had a seizure after receiving the shots, they would be compensated. Its when they claim mercury, measles virus, etc. in the vaccines caused it that the government crushes it. If I had to do it all over again, I would have vaccinated my autistic son after the age of 2 and then spaced out the vaccine schedule. Repeated use of antibiotics combined with vaccines is a dangerous combination. This is a good reason to wait until after 2 when most kids grow out of repeated ear and throat infections.

I just wanted to let you know of another option– you CAN get the MMR components each separately. Some think this helps, because it’s less taxing on the immune system if you spread it out. So you could get Measles at 1 year, Mumps at 2 years, Rubella at 3 years (or every 6 months, or whatever). Talk to your doctor to see if they have the individual doses, or if they’re willing to order them. I read The Vaccine Book by Dr. Sears, and I found it really made me feel better about vaccines in general– knowledge is powerful, and I have a much better understanding now of how the vaccines work. Plus, I now know what the vaccines are made of, and the risks and benefits of each vaccine. I really recommend seeing if your local library has a copy, and checking it out. Otherwise, go to a bookstore, and just read the chapter on MMR. Whatever you decide to do, best wishes to you!

My understanding is that it was NEVER linked to any type of injections. While there is no known cause of autism, researchers are now looking into neurotransmitters like dopamine and seratonin for the cause. It is not hereditary, but evidence does show that children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) has family members with other types of developmental delays. My feeling is: rather than looking for the cause, look ahead towards a sound education for that ASD individual.

Which researcher would that be? Wakefield, Fiengold, Singh?

A quick search only yielded results from 2005. Where was this announced yesterday?

Maybe next they will be saying that autism isn’t real..

As Nicholas said, there are many other highly qualified researchers who haven’t been discredited–other than by governments who are on the vaccine manufacturers’ payroll.

Real researchers have been saying this for years.
