are you ever to old to go to college?

In fact, “non-traditional” students tend to do better academically and add a valued perspective to the college classroom.
(Just please please don’t bring your kids to class with you, I hate when people do that.)
You do eventually become too old to enter certain professions. If you don’t start playing violin in childhood, you’ll probably never become a professional violinist; if you’re over the age where your body can stand staying awake all night, you’ll never make it through medical schools and internships to become a doctor.
Also be aware that adult learners are even less open–generally–to learning things that have no immediate practical application. So you will want to keep figuring out how your subjects apply in real life.
I’ve had students who were in their 80s. Some were just taking classes for fun–in which case, auditing is a good way to go.
Best of luck to you! 🙂
