Grants are real and don’t need to be paid back just like scholarships. Scholarships are criteria based and grants are need based. Loans are when they give you money that needs to be paid back after so many years.

You may qualify for a free grant for college. You’ll find it on web sight under FASFA or FAFSA (I forget exactly what order the center 3 letters are in, but it’s definitely these letters)
I got a grant a few yrs back for community college. It paid approx $3000 for the yr. ((@ $1500 per semester)
Before you can qualify you’ll need to first enroll/sign up for up-coming semester, select your major and courses, etc. You may have to pay for courses out of pocket until the grant arrives, then the school takes out anything still owed and the rest you deposit into your own account.

if it is for school then yes you could get a free grant just like the guy said, but if it is just a grant from the news paper then you will have to pay some money then maybe u might get it. they told me $150 to pay it and i hung up.

When you apply for your financial aid (loans and grants) they will tell you if you qualify to to be rewarded federal grants based on your family financial situation. Yes, it is money that you do not have to pay back. You must not exceed a certain annual salary in order to receive grants.

I’m not going to lie, but the only grants I know of that are free and you don’t pay back are pell grants. I don’t’ know about any other grants.

As above answer said, you don’t have to pay back grants. You do have to use them for the intended purpose (such as going back to school or starting a business).
Be careful with services that charge you to apply for grants, or charge you for access to directories of grants. I’d be suspicious of any “grant” you need to pay for (to apply, for information, or anything).

TOTAL SCAM!!!! You really should report them to the police immediately and let them handle it. BTW People can rig their phones to make it look like they are calling from anywhere.
